Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
FLSA:  Salary Non-Exempt
Reports To: Accounting Supervisor

 

Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to process incoming cash receipts and collections for motorhome units, along with other miscellaneous incoming funds. It entails communication with the dealer body and their respective financing authorities to collect for outstanding balances due, follow ups when needed for any past due balance, and proper application of funds collected to the appropriate account.

 

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

• Record accounts receivable by posting final invoices to the general ledger
• Record incoming cash receipts in accordance with internal control procedures and apply funds accordingly to the respective accounts.
• Communicate with the dealer network and their respective financial institutions regarding collections
• Prepare support for daily cash reconciliations
• Prepare daily check logs for incoming funds
• Compile data to support audit requests as needed
• Assist with accounting close functions or other departmental tasks, as needed
