Title: CAD Technician
FLSA: Salary Exempt
Reports To: Engineering Manager
Purpose:
The CAD Technician is a hands-on position which requires a combination of technical expertise, communication skills, creativeness, and a passion for providing a high quality RV to our customers. This role is involved in the entirety of the design process, from conceptual to production ready. Translation from concepts of interior &/or exterior designers into a production friendly product with cutting-edge floor plans and technology.

- Optimize production print applications
- Communicate with production and design team
- Follow unit through mechanical production
- Utilize team environment to update and maintain production prints

- Products and systems
- This CAD technician will work on a variety of products and systems, including: mechanical production, CNC equipment, 2D and 3D CAD design, process coordination, new product implementation, costing, production prints.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, and SAP
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Design Engineering in RV industry or related field
- Solid knowledge of RV design, materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards
- Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate and form relationships throughout the organization
- Degree in Design or Engineering or related field a plus
- Problem solving skills with an analytical mindset
- Prioritize multiple projects to ensure a quality product within a specified timeframe
- Utilize the Core Purpose and Values throughout daily activities and interactions in the organization
